Cookies

We use Hotjar and PostHog to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. They help us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. They use cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behaviour and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar and PostHog store this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Both are contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf. For further details, please see the ‘about Hotjar’ section of Hotjar’s support site and PostHog's privacy policy.

We also use marker.io to allow users to report issues they experience on the Quix platform in a seamless way. The "report a bug" button is visible on the platform at all times, and users can simply click on it to report a bug. To follow up on the report, we require a user email and name. We also collect information about the browser, browser version, operating system, and screen dimensions. This information allows us to fix the bug faster. While marker.io has the ability to record a 10-second video of the user session prior to clicking the button, we have disabled this feature in our integration to protect your information and security. As such, we do NOT record your screen. It is the user's responsibility to sanitise information and hide sensitive data in the screenshot before they send anything to us, through the marker.io form. For further information please see marker.io privacy policy and security.

"Do Not Track" is a privacy preference you can set in your browser if you do not want online services to collect and share certain kinds of information about your online activity from third-party tracking services.
